Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir i can understand your concern
i would like to explain you about the chemo therapy.
the medication given in chemotherapy will damage different kinds of cells in body along with cancer cells but cancer cells will not recover and other cells recover with time.
there will be slight disturbance of blood sugars also during chemotherapy so its always advisable to switch over for insulin during chemotherapy and also for few days after that until you get complete recovery.
kindly speak with your treating doc to start insulin
regards
