What Causes Rise In Amniotic Fluid During Pregnancy?
hi sir/mam
my hight is 5"3,weight is 56.5kg now,before pregnancy it was 48kg, all the blood and urin reports are normal. i have competed 24 weeks of my pregnancy but in my tifa scanning it shows 27 weeks. all reports are normal but the amniotic fluid is increased 24.24 cm. is it normal or it will creat any complication. sir hum log bahut pareshan hai.fluid jyada hone se kya hota hai. kya precaution lena hoga. plz, help me.

I understand your concern.
Increased amniotic fluid with AFI 24- needs to be taken care of.It's good all other parameters are normal.
You need -
- to take rest, avoid physical/psychological stress.
- get a detailed USG scan done for confirming fetal normality
- Consult your treating doctor for investigations like TORCH to exclude ant intra uterine infection, RH isoimmunization, Presence of diabetes/heart/ kidney problems in mother.
Specific treatment will be given for the cause found.
- some times there is no obvious cause & condition resolves over time & patient gives birth to a normal baby.
* So rest, be in touch with your doctor & follow the treatment advised if any is what is needed at the moment.
