What Causes Ribs Pain With Tightness And Breathing Difficulties?

ok i have been feeling off for some time doctor has been checking things had lots of blood tests nothing showing. Had two scans and all main organs ok and chest xray and nothing. have had the odd gout in the last year one two weeks ago that has returned this week. the main problem has been pain in side of ribs feel a little tightness at times that makes you think breathing is hard. Had upset tummy were i am normal when i get up then once or twice a day very loss. could this actually be a uric acid problem

Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic.After going through your query I think you are suffering from pleurisy as chest x ray is normal.Treatment of it is rest and analgesics (diclofenac three times aday). Sometimes strong analgesic(such as ultracet three times a day after meals) is required.Consulting with treating doctor is advised. It is unlikely to be due to uric acid problems. Sometimes vitamin D deficiency is the cause so get your vitamin D checked .If it is low then vitamin D supplementation( weekly with milk) can be taken.Avoid long continuous standing.Sit in a straight posture.Eat milk, fruits and green leafy vegetables daily.You need to done MRI TO RULE OUT other causes.
