What Causes Rib And Lower Lung Pain With Breathing?

I am 13yr old male and today i got up and got this sharp pain under my rib on my lower right lung. I tried to stretch it out and it just made it worse. My mom rubbed it but it didn t do any thing. And now every time i take a breath I get this poking feeling under my rib on my lower right lung. And I laid down for about 25 minutes and that did nothing at all. i am crying because it hurts so bad.

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion it seems muscular pain only.
But better to rule out lung disease as pain on breathing can be seen in lung infection too.
So get done chest x ray first. If this is normal than no need to worry much. It will be only musculoskeletal pain.
Try to follow these for relief in musculoskeletal pain.
1. Avoid heavy exercise and weight lifting.
2. Avoid bad postures in sleep.
3. Take good painkillers and muscle relaxant.
4. Apply warm water pad to the affected area.
