What Causes Redness Around Anus?
Hi my 15 month old daughter s anus area has been red for over 2 months. It started out when I gave her antibiotic for ear infection and with that she got yeast infection in the diaper area. The yeast infection went away with anti fungal cream but the redness is not going away. It looks really bad. Now using topical antibiotic ointment but what if the redness doesn t go away?????? Help

Deworm the kid with single dose of albendazole.
Some probiotic to be given orally.
antifungal cream with mild steroid application at the anal verge will relieve the symptom.
