What Causes Redness Around A Molar Tooth?

Hi I got my wisdom teeth removed a fews days ago and just today i was able to open my mouth wide enough to look around! I noticed too that on one of my molars there was a little bit of a red, veiny looking area under the molar... is this just a cut in my mouth or should I talk to my oral surgeon? (It doesn t hurt by the way).

Hi
thank you for your query on hcm

I understood your concern. If it doesn't hurt you wait for a week.Direct examination is necessary to understand your case.Dont worry, It might be a wound and subside by itself. Take prescribed medicines properly. If it prolongs, you can consult an oral surgeon.

Thank you
