What Causes Redness And Inflammation In Eyes And Feet?

My Mother in Law is 80 years old. She gets along great. Today when she dressed and went to church she noticed some burning in her feet. When she got home and removed her shoes and hose, she found her feet were extremely blue and the veins were very blue. She now says her eyes are really dry and burning.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Burning of the feet can occur as a result abnormal nerve function/structure, it may also be due to problems with the circulation.

Since there was associated changes in the color of the skin then it is more likely that the burning was related to circulation changes.

The burning of her eyes may not be connected.

It may be best for her to see her doctor for an evaluation.

I hope this helps
