What Causes Reddish Vaginal Discharge After Having Birth Control Pills?

My last period was on the 6th and ended around the 14th And then i took plan b a couple of weeks after sex, after 42 hours of unprotected sex. I did not have any symptoms but recently yesterday i had a brownish reddish vaginal discharge and its starting to look like a normal period today but not exactly. It is also two weeks early because i usually get my period on the sixth. I do have very little stomach pain/cramps and im not very hungry at all i feel a little nausea but it isnt bad. Could this be plan b or something else?

Hello,

I can understand your concern. Plan B suddenly changes the hormonal levels in the body to prevent pregnancy. Due to these sudden changes, changes in menstrual cycles are often observed.

This change in menstrual cycle has made your new cycle start two weeks earlier than your expected date. Now this is your new cycle and you can expect periods of next month based on this date.
