What Causes Reddish Itchy Painful Bump Near C Section Surgery Site?
I had an emergency c section 9 yrs ago and a scheduled one 2 1/2 yrs ago. Now, I have been getting a red bump that comes and goes right where the two c section scars meet. It itches and causes pain. I ve been to my Dr and have had CT scans done but was told everything looked normal. What could this be? I should mention the bump gets worse during my menstrual cycle.

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. The reddish itchy painful bump at the scar site of the caesarean section which is aggravated during the menstrual cycle is most likely the scar endometriosis.
