What Causes Reddish Dots On The Roof Of The Mouth?

Hi, so I noticed that the roof of my mouth had some subtle red dots on it. I as well noticed while I was checking that I had just three white little specks near my uvula as well as just one on my tonsils. I am as well experiencing a sore throat. Any idea what it could be?

Hi..
Thanks for the query.

Red dots on roof of mouth along with white specks near the uvula and on tonsil with a sore throat are all indicating towards throat infection and white specks seems to e pustules..

So it is advisable to consult a Physician and get a throat swab culture done..

You can be advised a course of antibiotics if there is a bacterial infection..
Anti-inflammatory pain relieve like Ibuprofen will also be advised for relieving inflammation and pain..
Also do warm saline gargles, suck throat lozenges and drink warm water..

The symptoms will improve in next 3 to 4 days..

Hope you get well soon..

Regards.
