What Causes Red Spotting And Stomach Cramps During Pregnancy?

Hi, I m 8 weeks pregnant, when I woke up this morning, I spotting a bright red color on my uderwear. I m very worry now but the bright red color doesnt smell like blood. I had a bit of cramp on my left side. Do you think there will be problem with my pregnancy? Should I make early appotiment with doctor (my next appoitment will be on 26 July -10 weeks pregnancy) ?

Hi dear and thanks for your query.

Spotting during early pregnancy isnt normal,but associated with abdominal cramps may be from your pregnancy(hematoma) or infection.
Hence get an examination such a TVS to exclude issues of pregnancy.
If TVS is normal it can be an infection.
