What Causes Red Spots On Both The Feet?

I have these little red pimple like spots that have appeared on both of my feet. Mostly around my toes. They don t itch and are not really painful unless I m walking in which it is just uncomfortable and feels like pins and needles. I got one small similar spot on one of my fingers as well. I can t think of anything I ve eaten that has been different, haven t gotten any bug bites in those areas either. I did get the flu shot a day or two before I noticed symptoms. I also had a sore throat for a few days, but that has since subsided. The spots on my feet are still there.

Hello,

I understand your concern for red spots on both the feet.

It appears from your query that you have got mild vasculitis of the affected area. It is a condition where the small blood vessels are inflamed and can cause redness and then discomfort.

You have not told us your age, sex and related medical history so that I could have helped you better.

I suggest you to keep a watch over the area and if these increases then can take treatment accordingly.

In my patients with your kind of cases I generally prescribe a mild steroid based cream and pain killer tablet such as paracetamol for two times a day after meals.

It may take few of the weeks to get better so do not worry and keep an observation over the area.

All the best.
