What Causes Red Spot On Head Of Penis After Having Unprotected Sex?

Recently my girlfriend and I had unprotected sex for the first time. 2 days later I noticed 1 red spot on the head of my penis ; of course I freaked out and went and got tested today (the doctor called it an ulcer). The diagnoses I got was that I had Urethritis and I have to wait a couple days for everything else to come back.

thank you for query.if the diagnosis of urethritis is confirmed .it can be bacterial mainly.you need to take plenty of water.take a course of antibiotics like azithromycin after consultation with your doctor.keep the genital area clean.treat the partner also with antibiotics.avoid sex till they resolve.also use condoms after they resolve for few days.consult doctor if does not subside to rule out other causes of rash like viral or fungal infections. You can get back to me for any clarifications with the photos.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist.
