What Causes Red Spot In Eyes

my nine year old son has had a red spot in his left eye for about one year.I have been to several doctors who say it is just a broken blood vessel and it will heal. It hasn t healed and he rubs his eyes at times as well . He got this spot after running into a branch of a tree. he also suffers from hayfever and alergic conjunctivits which causes his eyes to be itcy and red and he rubs them. he has had his vison checjked and it is normal. his eyes are not painful or blurry.

Hello
It seems from the history that your 9 year old son is having red spot in the eye.
This appears like subconjunctival hemorrhage from the history.
This is probably recurring because of repeated rubbing of eyes.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for treatment of allergic conjunctivitis or any other predisposing factor.

Thank you
