What Causes Red Rashes Spreading On Body Of A 4 Year Old?

my 4 year old daughter woke up yesterday morning with a small rash on her neck she complained it itched really bad, so i put some itch cream on it. When she woke up this morning it had spread all over her chest and stomach. The rash is a bunch of bumps close together a little bit bigger than a size of a sugar grain they are the same color of her skin (white) with a redish tent surounding the bumps. Can you tell me what it might be, Please?

Rash with itching may occur due to contact with allergens. In this case the progression of the rash is from above downwards and it seems like papules from your explanation. Such rash if it follows cough, cold and fever may occur in measles or in viral exanthems. Are the lesions fluid filled?? If it is progressive you should visit your doctor once.
