Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... My Hb was 107, took iron for 1 month, hb now 128. CBC describes RBC's as having anisocytosis, ovalocytosis and occasional pencil cells. My RDW is now high at 18.9%. I have red pin point dots on my body. I am very tired. WCC and PLTS were normal. My doctor says that I am OK. I do not agree.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have mild iron deficiency anemia. So your rdw is slightly high and you have pencil cells. Continue with iron treatment. Pin point rash may be due to some skin disease. You need examination for that. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
