What Causes Red Itchy Rashes All Over The Body?

Hi my wife has itching all over her body with red rashes & spots like sting bites. This first appeared 2 days ago. Her ears were itching & lobes had swelled, but after a few hours all was ok. yesterday her feet were itching. All this earlymornings. She has not changed her diet or eat/ drank anyhing different from usual.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that the symptoms of rashes and spots like bite sitings seems to be due to either allergic reaction to any food or medication, while contact allergy with any skin cosmetic can also be a cause..
In case if it is not due to allergic reaction, it can be due to mite infestation causing scabies..
One cause can also be due to bacterial infection of hair follicles causing scabies..
I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Blood test can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
In case of allergies you can be advised to take anti allergics like Allegra or Benadryl..
Topical steroids, cool compresses can also be advised..
In case of Scabies topical application of Premethrin ointment and oral Ivermectin can be advised..
Anti allergics will also be advised to relieve itching..
In case of folliculitis oral antibiotics and oral and topical antibiotics and steroids can be advised..
