What Causes Red Itchy Painful Rash On Inside Of Elbow?
I have a red itchy and painful rash on the insides of my elbows and on the underside of my wrist spreading up my foreman. It is small red bumps that are extremely dry and itch like no other. I always end up scratching it til the skin breaks then no more itch just stinging pain. Then they scab over. Tiny little scabs. If kept dry, an I mean completely dry they go away. And they only seem to happen after a day working in the rain or a day when I sweat allot. My skin is pretty dry to begin with. All lotions and cream seem to make it worse and spread more although does stop the itching. Any suggestions?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, this is typical symptoms suggestive of psoriasis, of course final diagnosis demands the clinical examination, till then this can be treated with the following given medicines on tentative basis, 1) Terbinafine cream 2) Tab Levocetirizine 10 mg three time in day I would advise you see the dermatologist to rule out the psoriasis, hope this information helps, take care.
