What Causes Red Itchy Bumps On Back?

I have a small rash across my back and it s a bunch of tiny bumps and super red and itchy. I think it s from using a different laundry soap than I usually do. I am allergic to benadryl, so what else can I take or put on it to make it go away or stop itching?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The use of a mild topical steroid cream may help.

If you cannot use benadryl then using another oral antihistamine along with the cream may also provide relief eg claritine, allegra, zyrtec

It would be important to identify the source of the reaction so exposure can be limited.

I hope this helps
