What Causes Red Bumps On Butt Cheek?

Since I was about 10 I have had large red bumps covering each of my butt cheeks that appear red on the surface but if you apply pressure while running your finger over them you can feel large hard balls. They don't itch they don't hurt but they are embarrassing. If I squeeze them thick cottage cheese consistency white or yellow puss shoots out. What could this be and how can I heal/prevent them?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you may have cysts in this area.

These are sacs that may repeatedly collect fluid which may become infected.

The sac would need to be removed to prevent recurrent infection.

You may want to consult your GP. He or she may be able to do this in office procedure or may refer you to an general surgeon.

I hope this helps
