What Causes Red Blotches In The Chest And Shoulders?

Hello, recently I have discovered red blotches around my shoulders and chest area, at the beginning they weren t very noticeable but now they seem to be spreading and becoming much more noticeable. They are mostly red but have a visible white centre, not spots. Only come out when I have been in the bath or shower. Thanks

Hi.
As per your case history you are having allergic dermatitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid using any new products like soap or perfume as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral steroid like prednisone or betamethasone taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
