It depends upon what type of food you consume and the type of drinking water you drink As a matter of fact, the drinking water supply in the some of the cities in the developing world get contaminated by faulty water supply system, the sewage gets contaminated with the drinking water as both the systems run side by side under the ground. This could be the cause of getting typhoid during rainy seasons. Typhoid also spreads by consuming contaminated poultry, eggs, etc. I hope your doubt has been clarified. Take care.
