What Causes Recurring Right Sided Abdominal Pain Post Tubal Ligation Surgery?

I had surgery ovary and tube removal with an open incision. Had my post op appt I'm two weeks out of surgery but I'm having shooting pain in the right side, not all the time. Dr said that the cyst was a large grapefruit size. I'm listening to my body. The pain isn't constant but I'm just concerned. It's not any worse than when in hospital

HI,
I understand your concern.
Internal healing after any operation takes a longer time The pain you have ( which is not more than in hospital) can be due to the healing process/ stress or stretch on operated area with certain activities/ Digestive problems
- In case the pain is persistent/ accompanied wit fever, vomiting.. you can wait patiently till your follow up visit for post operative check up.
- Do not foment/ massage the part.
