What Causes Recurring Puss Filled Bumps On Mons Pubis?
Hi. For a few years now say 3..I have been having painful lumps on my mons veneris. They heal after a while and even leave a scar.they then come back later on itcy and filled with puss and blood..I m so tired of them it s even painful to shave...Please help me..please
I can understand your concern. It seems that you are having haemorragic cyst in the area which is very common finding in females. Usually they are symptomsless but if infected, can cause symptoms such as itching, pain, pus discharge etc. It is possible that it might be getting ruptured due to rubbing if clothes or walking etc., but as the lining of the cyst is left inside the body, it tends to recur.
I would advise you to visit a gynecologist for the physical examination and investigations to confirm the diagnosis. If it is confirmed as a cyst, you should go for surgical removal of it to prevent recurrence and permanent healing of the area.
I hope this answer helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Let me know if you have follow up questions.
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
