What Causes Recurring Pimples And Pigmentation On The Face?

Hi Doc, I am 22 years old female and I think the breakout process has just reached at its peak. I am getting one pimple like daily don t know the reason, but yeah that is the current situation. I have quite number of dark spot on face due to pimples and due to all this my face complexion has become 3 to 4 times darker than my original skin color may be due to dark spots. Please advice on the above scenario. Thanks

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of recurring pimples and pigmentation on the face which is because skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented and due to clogged pores of sebaceous gland filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to

Apply aloe vera gel at night .

Apply meladerm cream and it is purely safe to use as this is combination of hydroquinone + Tretinoin + steroid and apply it at night time.

Wash your face daily with cold water and face wash containing salicylic acid.

Drink plenty of water.

If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks.
