What Causes Recurring Miscarriages In A Healthy Woman?

Hey, I had a few questions. I have had two abortions in 2014. After my second abortion I had a copper iud putt in although I got in removed in September 2015 almost a full year later of having it in because it made my periods longer and more painful. So my boyfriend and I thought that since we were removing the iud why not try to have a baby, and we have been trying since September 2015 and I have had 2-3 miscarriages and I m losing my hopes because I feel like the abortions have lowered my changes of having a baby. Which makes me cry because I really want to be a mom, but I feel like I can t because we have been trying for almost 6 months and I keep having miscarriage. Also I was wondering what s the average lining of the uterus is.

Recurrent Miscarriages are due to different reasons.
1. increase partners age
male greater than 40 female greater than 35
2. uterine anomalies
3. Chromosomal abnormalities
4. Hormonal imbalance
5. infections
6. cervical incompetence
Needs proper investigations trsnsvaginal ultrasonography, Hepatitis B, C, Syphillis, HIV, Cytomegalovirus, Toxoplasma, rubella virus screening, karyotyping of partners and aborted fetus, Thyroid function tests, Random and fasting blood sugar, cervical cerclage if incompetent.
If it was unexplained then prognosis is very good.
