What Causes Recurring Lump In Throat Under Right Jaw?

Hi, I developed a lump in my throat under my right jaw. It has been 3 days.
I had a pain from time to time in the same area and my doctor said to eat something sour and the pain would go away. Now there is a lump in the same area. What could this be?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The lump near the jaw is because of the tooth infection(abscess secondary to decay. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated, you have to take a radiograph like OPG to confirm the diagnosis. If i am your treating doctor, i would have prescribed a combination of amoxicillin and metronidazole combination for 5days. You can do saline gargling.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
