What Causes Recurring Chest Infection And Cough?

Hi I suffer from regular chest infection and I just had a cold the colds gone now , and I though I was getting better , but my chest seems rough when I cough and the last couple of day I ve been getting a bleach taste when I cough and some times the rubbish is yellowish , I do smoke but cut down loads and am not using a e- fig most of the days .thank you ,yours gratefull carrie.

Smoking can lead recurrent chest infection, hence Avoid smoking...

Your chest x ray and spirometry can be done here to assess severity of chest infection...

You might prescribed suitable antibiotic like cefixime for its full course for five days ..

Drink hot water for drinking...

Avoid excess spicy foods and fatty meals to avoid excess mucus formation...

For cough Ambroxol syrup prescribed
