What Causes Recurring Boils In A Diabetic?

Hello, i have two questions.
I stepped on a large piece of glass over a month ago. I pulled the glass out , but for weeks my foot was hurting. Two weeks ago I had someone to really dig around and they got a very small piece of glass out. Well my foot was still hurting, so today I began digging at it and got another piece of glass out. The glass must have broke into pieces when I first stepped on it. My foot still is sore. If there is more glass in it will it eventually come to the surface, or should I be seen by a doctor?

Also

I am diabetic only have to take pills for that, but I tend to get boils. I have had one removed years go because it kept filling up with blood, yes I just had to pop it. I have another large one on my inner thigh, and yes I have popped it with a pin several times to get the blood out. Should I have it removed or will it eventually just go away?

Hi..
Thanks for choosing HCM..
Answer to the first question .. You need to consult the doctor to see whether there are any remnant of glass pieces and if necessary get them removed..
You need to take a full course of antibiotic to prevent infections..
Second ... Diabetics are more prone to infections..
Whenever there is a boil you can leave it like that it eventually bursts If bigger need to take antibiotics..
You can burst them but do not pierce with a pin ..It leads to more severe infections..
Keep your blood sugars under control all the time..
Hope I have answered your query..Take care..
