What Causes Recurring UTI Along With Burning Sensation During Urination?
I have been on antibiotics for a UTI, but as soon as I quit my symptoms come right back. I have been tested for any STDs and all came back good. I haven t had sex in a year, and have been having burning and terrible smelling urine for about 6 months. Any ideas?

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having chronic urinary tract infection and might be having resistant to routine antibiotics.
You might require routine urine and culture to know specific bacteria causing this infection and antibiotic medicine working against it.
It is advisable to go for ultra sound of kidneys to rule out any problem in kidneys giving rise recurrent infection.
Take plenty of water.
Ok and take care.
