What Causes Recurrent Fluttering Sensation In Heart?

hi i have a friend who keeps having a sensation of his heart fluttering then a feeling of having to catch his breath. this happend about a month ago had tests done found nothing. it happen again today and has not stopped. this started again at 10:30 am has not stopped. he says this has happen before what would be the cause of this. It is very scary for him. he is 48 6ft1 healthy active.

Hi there.

He could be having missed beats of arrhythmia. This needs to be assessed with a Halter monitor ECG machine. Consult a Cardiologist.
