What Causes Recurrent Bumps Around The Anal Opening?

About five months back, I started noticing this bulge just above and slightly to the right of my anus. It started growing bigger and then later on developed into a bubble like swelling. When I showed my doctor he said this arises because of excessive straining while having a bowel movement. He asked me whether I had any history of anal fissures and actually I had them about three years back. The doctor then prescribed me an ointment called Cremagel (Diltiazem Gel 2%) which I kept applying regularly. It got better with time but about two months later, the condition started appearing again. This time it developed into a bubble like swelling and eventually burst with blood leakage. Once it had burst, I felt so relieved and the pain subsided in a day. But now it has come again for the third time. I think the name of this condition is perianal hematoma and it keeps coming again. Please try providing an answer for this.
