What Causes Rashes On The Torso And Back While On Tylenol For Fever?

My wife has had a mild fever for a week. She saw a dr last week and prescribed amoxicillin. it made really bothered her stomach and stopped taking it after 5 days. the fever with tylenol got down to 98.6 the last two days in the late morning. a couple of days she developed a rash all over her torso and back. just a note she began the fever a day after competing a metrol dose pack for her back. we are thinking its a virus and just needs to play its course. any thoughts?

Hi i do care for your concern.
Your history suggest more of viral infection.
the steroids to some extent will lower immunity and hence chances of infection is possible.
The drug amox will cause intestinal side effects in some individuals.
I would advise
To continue amox for another 3days along with it add tablet lactobacillus and an antacid at night will help.
after that continue only tylenol, that is enough.
hope all the symptoms resolves soon.
