What Causes Rashes On The Body With Recurring Fever?

My 21 yr old son caught a virus from my husband. Fever and fatigue for several days, then went away for my husband. My son. on the other hand developed a rash after 3 days. Yesterday he woke up and had a rash that was mostly on his arms and torso, in his mouth (but not his tongue) and very little on his legs. The rash does not itch nor hurt. His fever is mostly in the evening hours and rises to 100.3 degrees. Today he woke up with a rash spreading all over his body. Still does not itch. He is up to date on his vaccinations.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to viral fever. It is better to rule out hemorrhagic fever by checking platelet count. A consultation with physician is well appreciated. Take plenty of water. Avoid NSAID drugs. Take proper rest also.
Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
