What Causes Rashes And Blisters Around The Areola?
Hello, I am allergic to formaldehyde and its agents, however, today I noticed a rash around the areola of my right breast and a small patch of blisters on my right side below my armpit. I recall it being painful yesterday but chose to ignore it. It is somewhat painful to the touch. I recently broke a rib while vacationing in Scotland and we just found out our dog may lose his right eye. Could this be shingles? I have had the vaccine. Thank you! Marietta Kummerle
Hello,my name is dr,Dorina Gurabardhi.I understand your concern. Nipples are a very sensitive part of your body, and can react to a change in laundry detergent or shower gel; -They can also become irritated by clothing. -Could be hormonal. -If it’s on one breast, could be an early sign of inflammatory breast cancer, though it’s very rare. Most likely it’s nothing to worry about. If it doesnt go away see a local doctor. Hope my answer was helpful,if you have any other question I will be glad to answer, thanks!
