What Causes Rash Around Stomach And Torso?
my husband has a rash around his stomach and his upper torso. I've not changed laundry detergents, products, etc. It is itchy. He keeps grasping at straws trying to figure it out; he's gone as far as thinking its scabies. I am fine have no rashes or anything neither do our four kids. Any thoughts.

Actually it is quite difficult to diagnose/suggest a skin disease without seeing it. As far as scabies is concerned, following things if present in family suggests scabies:
1. Itching between fingers.
2. Severe itching specially at night and you get awake.
3. More than one family member involved.
There are multiple causes of rash on body. Which can be as simple as an insect bite and can be complex diseases as well.
For itch i would suggest you to give:
> Tab. Zanlan 10mg (Cetirizine) 1 tablet at night for 4 days.
> Tab Sigmar 10mg (Ebastine) 1 tablet in the morning for 4 days
"Zanlan" causes sedation so i advised at night while "sigmar" does not cause sedation so it can be taken during the day time. Both these will help in controlling the itching BUT at the same time consult your nearest doctor if :
> Condition starts to deteriorate.
> Condition does not resolve in 2-3 days
> Any other problem starts.
