Hello, Rapid weight loss and fatigue can be seen in uncontrolled and undetected diabetes, as considerable amount of glucose is lost in urine. There can be other reasons too. As he also has cough, it is better to rule out possibility of pulmonary tuberculosis. So please get detailed blood testing for fasting, PP & HbA1c%, CBC (to see if anemia is present) and test to rule out tuberculosis. Thanks.
