What Causes Rapid Weight Gain?

Hello. I am a 49 year old female. I have experienced slow weight gain over the past 2.5 years. however over the last six months the weight gain has been more rapid. I have kept a food diary to track my food/calorie intake and reality is I eat very little. Nothing in my lifestyle has changed to account for the weight gain. I have gained 15 lbs over the last 3 years. I know menopause causes weight gain. Because my body isn t used to carrying this extra weight I don t feel like my normal self. My stomach hurts like there is a tight rubber band around it. Is this all from menopause or could there be something more going on? My email is YYYY@YYYY . Thank you. Valenti
