What Causes Rapid Heart Beat?

Hi hmmm lately I have been feeling weak and my heart beats really fast when I m just sitting? Is this serious? I do stress a lot but I can be very calm and my heart beats fast or climb up simple stairs and my heart will be really fast also. What should I do? I m only a minor.

Your symptoms are suggestive of Tachycardia secondary to anxiety.Get investigations like ECG,2 dimensional echocardiography of your heart to rule out ventricular tachycardia.Also monitor your heart rate and blood pressure regularly.Electrophysiological study will also help to arrive at a diagnosis.Drugs like Metolar and anxiolytics will be helpful in your case.Avoid stress and anxiety.Exercise regularly for 30 min.Practice yoga and meditation.Consult your cardiologist for expert management and follow up.
