What Causes Random Increase In Sugar Levels?

So I woke up this morning with a blood glucose level of 92. I took my insulin and ate a healthy breakfast well within my dietary parameters. I exercised for 40 minutes and then showered and checked my sugar again and it was 192. I had had nothing but water since breakfast and very normal glucose levels for the week. Why am I having this random high?

Hello,

It is advisable to test the blood sugar between
11/2 to 2 hrs after meal. Random blood sugar in a diabetic should be below 200 mg / dl.
So in my opinion you don't have to worry with this value.
Repeat the blood sugar test fast a week with the same diet and medications.
If the values are above 200 mg / dl then you may need dose adjustment of your OHA's.
Consult with your doctor.
