WhHello, I have had Lyme disease for about one year. I was not informed by the doctor who took the blood test of my positive result so was not informed or treated for five months. At that point, I was in 4th stage of Lyme disease. I received 200 mg of Doxycyclene for two months which only suppressed the symptoms, then IV Ceftriaxone for six weeks, which also only suppressed the symptoms. Within days of completing both these treatments, the symptoms returned. In Canada, treatment is restricted according to obsolete 2006 USDA guidelines... so as far as Infectious Disease is concerned, I've received the treatment and am cured... however this is not the case. I have had to resort to using medical marijuana which I have been using for approximately 6 weeks with positive results... but again, if I discontinue use of marijuana CBD oil with THC and THCA, then the symptoms return. Right now, I have a new symptom of reaction... I have identical raised itchy elongated raised welts on both side of my buttocks that look like a big worm crawled under my skin. I can't find anything online that looks like this... I think the Lyme spirochetes may be active along my sciatic nerve there or a main blood vessel... do you have any idea what may be causing this?
