What Causes Radiating Ear Pain After Sore Throat?

I am a 31 year old female. Last night I had a sore throat. It was gone this morning but I have a shooting pain in my right ear that shoots up to my temple and to the top centre if my head, I feel as thought it is in my brain. It was happening every half and hour but now it s more frequent. I went to work today but when I got home the pain is more aggressive. I feel as though my cheeks are burning up and my stomach feels a bit nautious.
