What Causes "reflux" After Undergoing Nissen Fundoplication?

I had a Nissen fundo done 5 weeks ago. I am starting to eat better and my appetite has improved so i think at times I over eat at one sitting. It feels awful afterwards and I get what feels like reflux again. Can this be hurting my stomach wrap, or could it just be the pressure that is creating the reflux feeling. I know now I need to continue with my smaller 5 meals a day. Hopefully that will help. I am just worried that the two or three times I have felt the over eating "reflux" means I could have caused damage to the wrap.

small frequent meals as per the guidance .
