What Causes Pus Filled Blister In Between The Buttocks Of A Child?

Hello. My daughter is 10 and has a bump on the inside of her buttocks. It s red and feels like there is pus in it. She says that it s tender...I don t know what it could be. I am planning on taking her to my lady doctor, but she is 10 and is embarrassed by it. Do you have any idea what it could be?

I really appreciate your concern for your daughter, this could be abscess formation and if this complete one means fully developed abscess and not induration then it may need draining of puss, and for that you need to take her to the Doctor, hope this information helps, take care.
