What Causes Pus Cells In Urine Test?

hi i am soma,about four months ago i had a urine test and it was discovered i had pus cells.i was given medication but for some reason it still hasn t cleared.is there a possibility i might have gonorrhea?the medication is also used for gonorrhea sometimes.

I understand your concerns

It is normal to find some few pus cells in urine. When there is an infection, the number increases. If you have been having persistent increase in these pus cells, I would suggest you discuss the usefulness of doing urine culture and sensitivity test with your attending physician.
This would help identify the bacteria that is responsible and the antibiotic that can act on it.
It is not possible to say without this test the exact cause of the problem.
