What Causes Pus Cells In Stool When Diagnosed With Nephrotic Syndrome?

Hi, my child is 3 years old has a nyphtrotic syndrome wAs on steroids (stopped a month ago) is suffering from loose motions and pus cells coming out of his stool is 20-25 hpf and the colour of the stool is green and wAtery ..... I have started the antibiotic the point of my worrying is his protein is also coming out does steroids will have to be given again ...and when this watery potty will become tight

Well there is no relation between nephritic syndrome and his loose motions.

Numerous wbc in stools indicate bacterial infection of the gut . The loose motions will last for 2-3 days if at all started on proper antibiotic course else it can persists for weeks .

I would like to know what antibiotic has been started on him , If loose motions persists even after 3 days of antibiotic then it would be better to get a stool culture sensitivity test.

There is no need to give him steroids. Also hydrate him well by giving plenty of water and fruits juice.
