General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dr. Hanif warmly welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic HCM. I have carefully worked through your case, and can well realize your health worries. Being your physician, I want to assure, I will take care all of your medical concerns.

Probable causes:-
May be you need to adjust your Clopidogrel ( the blood thinning medicine-the Plavix). Consult your treating physician for the same.
Sometimes, platelet counts go down and cause the issue.
Clotting factors deficiency.
Liver disease and deranged liver functions.
Kidney disease.
Vitamin deficiency especially vit. K deficiency.

Is there any itching, stinging, or feeling of pain in the areas of lesions??
Can you please upload pictures of the lesions so that I may see if it is due to a skin condition named Intertrigo which is an inflammatory disease of the skin folds in diabetics and is caused by certain fungi, bacteria or viruses.

Blood work needed:-
CBC with ESR and Differentials.
Liver and Kidney function tests.
Serum proteins.
Serum electrolytes.
PT/PTT values.

When you get the lab test results, upload the results in a follow up query and I will get back to you in no time with expert opinion on cause of your issue and the options to manage it. Your local physician may also help you for the same.
