Consult your treating physician for the same. Sometimes, platelet counts go down and cause the issue. Clotting factors deficiency. Liver disease and deranged liver functions. Kidney disease. Vitamin deficiency especially vit. K deficiency. Is there any itching, stinging, or feeling of pain in the areas of lesions?? Can you please upload pictures of the lesions so that I may see if it is due to a skin condition named Intertrigo which is an inflammatory disease of the skin folds in diabetics and is caused by certain fungi, bacteria or viruses. Blood work needed:- CBC with ESR and Differentials. Liver and Kidney function tests. Serum proteins. Serum electrolytes. PT/PTT values.
