Hi, I had very chapped lips from windburn about 10 days ago, which went away after using chap stick for several days. Naturally, I started looking closer and noticed on the outside of my bottom lip this very small (but noticable) purplish kind of raised rounded dot. It doesn t hurt at all. Of course I chose the internet to get an idea of whats up, and the best I could come up with was venous lake or Mucocele . The photos on the internet do not really resemble my personal case. The venous photos are MUCH bigger than what I have and the Mucocele photos do not seem to match at all. Perhaps after many months , my blemish could potentially look like the venous photos? I m kind of hoping that the trauma from my chapped lips(they were pretty wind burned) has something to do with this, but I don t know. Please advise, as id appreciate your opinion.
