What Causes Purple Patches On The Legs Post Intake Of Flecainide?

Hi, I suffer from Atrial Fibrillation and have been given flecainide to take when the AF happens. I have developed quite severe urticaria now and have noticed there are purple patches on my legs which were not there before. I am 66 years old and am also taking Pradaxa. I feel I need to stop taking the flecainide immediately as the skin rash has been there off and on for several weeks now. I also take metoprolol and have had no problems with that drug at all. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you, Heather.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the urticarial rash then it may not be due to the medicine unless it is being proved, condition may be self limiting if it is the urticarial rash, you can try anti-histamine for this and best drug is Tab Loratadine three times in day, it is better to inform the doctor prior to stop any medicine given for cardia disease hope this information helps.
