What Causes Pupils To Change Size After Head Injury?

Hello... I have a question about my 3 year old sons head injuryHe slipped in the shower 2 weeks ago and hit the back of his head on a sharp meat rail on the floor He didn t bleed, the skin was cut slightly but the lump was huge, I could cup it in my whole hand. I called the national health hotline and they talked me through signs to watch for concussion. He didn t appear to have any signs. Eight nights later he bumped his head on the lounge and later I noticed his pupils were different size. I called the nation health hotline again and they recommended to go to emergency. We did and when we finally saw the doctor he was not concerned at all as my son was happy, walking and talking and his pupils reacted to light ok. A few days later my partner and I agreed we should get a second opinion as his pupils were still unequal and they were fine prior to the first head injury. I took him to a doctor and he too was also not concerned as his eyes were still responding to light and he seems fine within himself. I have noticed he is sometimes forgetting what he is talking about and states that he can t remember what he was saying or wanted to say. His pupils are still unequal and he still has a large bump on his head from the fall in the shower. I am concerned as he eye s were normal before. Can this be a sign of the swelling associated with the bump? How long can I expect the bump to be on his head?
